I have a real nice max axe with +15 dmg allways and +30 health and -1 health regen. My question is if I put a 3/1 Vampric haft on it will I get -2 health regen?

I have the haft but don't want to waste it if I get -2 health regen no point in it.

Yes the vamp haft will stack with the -1HP regen that is on the axe giving you -2 HP regen.

Actually, you can still use the haft and stack it if you're running a W/Mo with mending or watchful spirit (+2 pips). The main problem is that the maintenance cost of -1 energy reduces the W's regen rate of energy to +1.

Just don't have the axe equiped outside of combat. -2 pips of degen is 4 hp/second. The vampic will easily make up for one of those pips. The only thing is switch to a different weapon or a slot with just a shield (if you want a reminder to put your axe back on) when you are outside combat. The monks will get annoyed if you are constantly losing 4hp each second.

I hope you forgot to put the % after the 15 or else that axe is quite scary.
